Largely used for commercial security, home and premises surveillance is rapidly gaining in popularity – and InterSecurity Systems can provide our residential customers with expert high definition video surveillance capabilities. There are some options available that can increase home security systems.
Home Surveillance System Types
There are three options in which surveillance camera services can be included with basic security services:
- Option 1 – A basic home surveillance system could include a camera installed by the front door that is connected to your television set. When someone rings the front doorbell, that person can be viewed on the television monitor or set. This is a simple and convenient option over a regular intercom system that can be added to a new security system as an upgrade. It does *not* record any events.
- Option 2 – If you have a more enhanced home security system, network cameras can be interfaced with your security system and allow for options of cloud storage. This option *does* record events.
- Option 3 – If you wish, you can have a stand-alone high definition surveillance system installed with remote viewing capabilities and recording on the site.
